This course is for you if you:

  • Can’t seem to relax your body or quiet your mind

  • Feel anxious but you’re not sure why

  • Struggle with intrusive thoughts

  • Find yourself getting caught up in worry and negative thought loops

  • Find yourself obsessing over interactions and events from the past

  • Struggle with anxiety attacks

  • Want to learn how to manage anxiety but really don’t want to go to therapy

This course will teach you:

  • The function of anxiety

  • What happens in the body when anxiety takes over and what you can do about it

  • Body-based self-regulation techniques to calm the nervous system

  • Various strategies including, but not limited to mindfulness and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to manage anxiety-provoking thoughts

  • To increase self-awareness

  • How to take the “threat” out of anxiety

What to Expect:

This is 3-Part virtual course for managing anxiety. I will lead three 1-hour sessions over Zoom while providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for all who wish to quietly observe or actively participate, with your choice of having your camera on or off.

One-on-One Therapy for Anxiety

The Transforming Anxiety 101 Course may be all that you need to help you better understand and manage your anxiety.

However, anxiety takes all forms and can hit at different strengths so One-on-One Therapy is sometimes the best opportunity for you to receive guidance on how to navigate through your anxiety to the other side.

Individual Therapy is not for the faint of heart.  

 

It takes time, effort and practice to transform anxiety.

 

You must be willing to learn, self-reflect, and move through things that may feel quite uncomfortable at first.

 

However, the rewards for doing this work are invaluable.

 

You will become more aware of your strengths. You will become more resilient. You will become more confident in your ability to overcome obstacles and challenges as you move forward in life.
